| That's a Wrap! Recap LDE GMD annual conference |
| On November 13, 2024, the LDE GMD conference was held at the historic Scheltema venue in Leiden. Over 200 participants attended, including representatives from government agencies, civil institutions, LDE universities, and various other organizations. The event featured two keynote speeches, ten interdisciplinary panels, and the launch of the first GMD white paper, highlighting the center's commitment to fostering collaboration across fields. "The Migration City: Past, Present, and Future - Conversations about Policy and Political Choices, from the Labour Market to Housing"

 On 13 November, the white paper was presented by Reinout Kleinhans (PhD) to Imke van Gardingen of the FNV and Jan Jaap Kleinrensink of VluchtelingenWerk Nederland. The White Paper contains seven conversations between scientists and practitioners, leading to valuable insights about good practices of working and living together in The Migration City. Memorandum of Collaboration for Resilient Neighbourhoods in The Hague

Fostered by The Hague Southwest Thesis Hub, De Haagse Hogeschool, and housing associations Haag Wonen and Staedion joined forces and signed a memorandum of collaboration on October 7. The partnership focuses on fostering co-creation, community building, and meaningful change.
