Cycling Lecture
The aim of this workshop is to provide useful and practical information to help international staff members and their partners of TU Delft, ensuring they are prepared for cycling in Delft.
The lecture will consist of:
a) teaching general information about the Dutch cycling culture and history
b) rules of the road
c) good practice and behaviours
d) right of way laws
e) maintaining a bicycle.
Cycling Tour
After the lecture we will do a study tour where participants have a chance to test their skills riding a bicycle. This tour aims to complement the lecture by navigating a range of different junctions and common road situations.
Before we depart for the study tour the tour guides will start with a ‘check’ to make sure that all participants are capable of joining the tour.

10 September from 9.30 - 13.00 hrs.
