Partner Career Workshop

Note: Based on the pandemic situation and the ongoing regulations at the time of the workshop, it may be shifted online. In case of any changes, you will be informed in advance. 

TU Delft provides a series of 6 workshops to partners of TU Delft employees, who have (recently) moved to the Netherlands and would like to learn more about the Dutch job market and the job application process in The Netherlands.

The workshops are thematically coordinated and in order to achieve the best result, therefore, enrolments are only possible for the whole workshop program and not for an individual workshop only. You will work on your CV, motivation letter, pitch and LinkedIn profile.

Besides getting trained on the Dutch job market, you will also get to know your peer participants who might be in a similar situation as you are. 

Who? 
Partners / Spouses of TU Delft employees who have recently moved to the Netherlands and are interested in information about the Dutch job market and are willing to receive job hunting skills. The workshop is free of charge for international partners of TU Delft employees.

Are you a partner of a guest researcher of TU Delft? We have to inform you that seats in this workshop are primarily reserved for partners of employees with a regular contract. Please register and in case there are open spots you are more than welcome to join and we will reach out to you no later than 3 days before the start of the workshop 

When?
Tuesday 31 May, from 9.00 till 13.00 hrs:
  - Writing a good CV and Professional Profile

  - Job hunting techniques in The Netherlands plus Motivation letter tips

Tuesday 7 June, from 9.00 till 13.00 hrs:
  - The `Elevator Pitch’ for networking and job interview preparation
  - Job Interview techniques including practice in role plays

Tuesday 14 June, from 9.00 till 13.00 hrs:
  - Working with the Dutch: Networking & the Role Culture plays in Business

  - Working with the Dutch: The Dutch Business Environment: Essential skills for success.

Meeting details
Instructions on how to participate in this workshop will be shared with participants after registration, three days before the event will take place.

Language
As all of our workshops are taught entirely in English, participants must demonstrate a good command of the English language, both spoken and written (comparable with Cambridge level B2).

You can sign up in the registration form. You only have to register once for all six workshops. Deadline for registration is 7 days prior to the event (24th May 2022, 23:55 hrs).
