Mental Well-Being Workshop
 

Are you facing emotional challenges while living abroad? Do you want to develop mental 
resilience to cope with the emotional ups and downs of expat life? If so, our upcoming 
mental health workshop is just for you! This workshop is designed to empower you with 
valuable tools and techniques to build emotional resilience and thrive in your expat 
journey.
Here’s what you can expect from the workshop:
1. Gain a deeper understanding of cultural shock and its impact on your mental and 
physical health. 
2. Learn to use practical tools and coping skills to manage stress, anxiety, and other 
challenging emotions that arise. 
3. Identify strategies to enhance accountability toward activities that promote 
emotional resilience. 
4. Find practical ways to build a strong social support network while living 
overseas without losing your cultural identity. 
5. Identify challenging beliefs, learn cognitive strategies to overcome negative self-talk, and develop a positive mind-set.
6. Discover how aligning with your values can enhance your sense of purpose, 
fulfilment, and overall well-being
This workshop is interactive and engaging, providing you with opportunities for self-reflection, group discussions, and skill-building exercises. You will also have the chance
to connect with and share experiences with other participants in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

Trainer
Wendy Chong is a mental health facilitator who has a passion for helping expats achieve mental well-being. As an expat herself,
she understands the unique challenges of living abroad and their impact on mental health. She leverages her mental health expertise to empower individuals with the tools and support they need to navigate emotional challenges in their new home country. She believes that mental health stigma should not exist and everyone deserves to have their voice heard when it comes to their mental well-being.

Out of respect for the staff, vendors, and participants on the waiting list, we kindly ask that you let us know at least 72 hours in advance if you are unable to join.
