UMC Utrecht opens new CT facility to improve and speed up patient diagnosis |
With the installation of two state-of-the-art spectral CT scanners, UMC Utrecht now has three spectral CT scanners. The detector in spectral scanners contains an extra layer, which creates a more detailed image of the X-ray beam. This results in better image quality and therefore more information.
