HU students test a robot that helps children to express their feelings |
Impulse control can be complicated for young children. Nick van Breda, co-initiator of SAMbuddy, feels that young children should be able to withdraw at any time so they can vent their feelings. The SAMbuddy robot helps children by allowing them to express their feelings in the moment. As part of the research for their minor, students from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht visited schools to test the cuddly robot on children. |

Smoke-free public space at Utrecht Science Park |
Since 1 August 2020, all educational sites are smoke-free by law. A further step has now been taken towards making Utrecht Science Park smoke-free with the signing of a declaration of intent by a number of partners at Utrecht Science Park. The goal is to make the whole of Utrecht Science Park a clearly recognisable and attractive smoke-free area. |

International cooperation makes it possible to respond more quickly to infectious diseases that pose a threat to public health.
