Please join us in this special QuTech webinar where the prize winners of the iQuHACK - QuTech challenge will present their prize winning work on quantum computing on Quantum Inspire.
In January 2022, MIT organized its annual quantum hackathon: iQuHACK (interdisciplinary Quantum HACKathon). The aim of the hackathon was to bring students (high school through early-career professionals) from a diverse set of backgrounds to explore improvements and applications of near-term quantum devices. This year, QuTech was one of the platform sponsors, offering Quantum Inspire as a platform for development and challenging teams to develop solutions for two special challenges, designed for our electron spin and superconducting quantum devices. 48 teams took up the QuTech challenges.
After careful deliberation, the team QuantumRX from Yale came out as a division winner, with their project “Automatic calibration of quantum hardware, very handy for these days in which quantum computers are noisy!” Second place was for team Keytanglement from California Polytechnic State University, with “Quantum communication for a chat server to make your communication unhackable”.
At this special webinar, both teams will present their work. We invite everyone to these interesting presentations and learn about their quantum solutions for NISQ devices.
