European Flow Measurement Workshop 2023
28-30 March 2023 // Maasvlakte Rotterdam & Delft, the Netherlands
In 2023, VSL, National Metrology Institute of the Netherlands, will organize a special edition of the European Flow Measurement WorkShop. The workshop will take place for the seventh time.

About the event
The theme for the Workshop is “Measurement challenges for realizing the Energy Transition” and will explore measurement challenges for the flow sector as stakeholders throughout the supply chain position themselves to address the energy transition.

The first two days will be dedicated to the flow measurement challenges in the Energy Transition, inclusive the grand opening of the new European Center for Flow Measurement (ECFM). The workshop will focus on measurement challenges including the (possible) solution for these challenges.

In addition, a unique insight is given into the possibilities and choices of the ECFM new test- and calibration-facilities. We will open our doors to our new waterflowlabs 1&2, volumelab, LNG standard, control room as well as the Hydrogen Quantity Standard (HyQS). During guided tours VSL’s experts will show you why our new facilities are so unique. You will get the opportunity to ask our experts all about the latest developments in flow metering and calibrations.

The last day of the workshop, flow organisations will bring their services and products to the attention as a (potential) solution to support the Energy Transition.

The EFMWS will contain a high network function. The program will offer enough time to get in touch with people from different parts of the flow industry in a beautiful location in order to establish new relationships and/or strengthen existing ones.

Who should attend?
The workshop is intended for those who are interested in flow measurement and metrology, in particular Custody Transfer and high-end Process Metering for liquid and gas. For three days you, the end user, manufacturer, supplier, researcher and/or other professional, will have the opportunity to learn from each other and present the latest developments and findings.
