Torsten’s been checking out the promise of Brighton’s sexiest sandwiches at Social Board, BRAVO Best Takeaway 2024. Fully primed, Torsten and friend tucked into a succulent Ruben and spicy ‘Mother Clucker’ with mounds of Katsu-drenched fries, leaving them entirely satisfied. And there’s 30% off Social Board with Uber Eats right now. My my...anyone not tempted?

In a gorgeous cocktail dress and precarious heels, Brit braved the steep stairs at North Laine speakeasy Bar Valentino to celebrate husband Rich’s big 4-0. Navigating the fabulous menu like a true pro, the lovebirds took advantage of the balmy weather with a table on the balcony and an age-appropriate smoked Old Fashioned.

Speaking of birthdays, Helm Gallery celebrates its 1st anniversary this weekend following a whirlwind year of contemporary art, sparkling events and craft cocktails. From 6th to 8th September, the gallery will be restored to a blank canvas - and open to the public - while nine international artists will be given free rein to create new art - live. Sounds wild.

Next Thursday 12th September, you could choose between Unbarred beer and a seasonal food pairing at The Cleveland Arms and ‘Sip and Sniff’ at Lost In The Lanes with delicious seasonal dishes, wines from local Stopham Vineyard and an interactive session from Nancy Meiland Parfums. Then again, why choose when you could do both?

Looking ahead in the diary, we’ll be tasting autumn menus, checking out new venues and hearing about upcoming events, with visits to Wild Flor, The Eight Bells Jevington, The Metropole Bar and Goldstone Rum already booked. Believe it or not, Christmas Parties are taking up quite a bit of our brain space and we’re starting to plan for the launch of BRAVOS 2025 in January. That’s just how we roll…
Yours, pencils sharp and ready for anything,
Hannah and Team RB
