The EXSIDE from Knapen Trailers is unique in the market. The moving floor trailer with side doors has a mid post that can be slid completely to the side to create an uninterrupted opening of no less than 12.88 metres over the entire length of the trailer. In the framework of Special Solutions, we recently built this amazing, customer-specific EXSIDE. The customer transports grain products up to grain size soybean 50 and pallets. The construction mounted at the rear of the trailer offers space for a forklift so the driver is fully self-sufficient when loading and unloading pallets.
This particular customer opted for a 4-axle model due to the legally permissible load carrying capacity of more than 35T. The first axle has a lift axle, which can be operated using the unique Knapen Trailers remote control. The 4th axle is a self steering axle that ensures the trailer is easy to manoeuvre, at every type of location.
As an optional feature, the trailer has been equipped with a hydraulic liftable upper beam. This creates an additional 30 cm of working height for the customer. The combination of this hydraulic liftable upper beam and the PowerSheet®, the Knapen Trailers fully automatic sheeting system, is unique in the market. The PowerSheet® is operated remotely and ensures the trailer is covered safely, quickly and watertight.
