At Knapen Trailers we are receiving a rising number of requests for large volume combinations. We have already built many different versions of the Long-HGV trailers in the past years. In cooperation with our Norwegian dealer Trailerpartner AS, a special combination has now been added to the list: a unique EXSIDE - Long-HGH combination! |
The customer from Norway was looking for a multi-functional HGV combination, consisting of a lorry with a dolly and a trailer. The regulations in Norway permit vehicle combinations with a total length of 25.25 m to be driven. In close consultation with the customer, this exceptional HGV combination was configured and constructed completely according to their specifications. This was the first time Knapen Trailers was asked to build a lorry with an EXSIDE body.
The main advantage of this HGV combination is its multi-functionality. This results in lower CO2 emissions and considerable cost savings. As this combination can carry 52m³ (more than 55%!!) more than a standard truck with trailer, the savings on fuel and labour, and the reduction in CO2 emissions, are significant.
