Sunday Roasts, Majahma competition, outings galore
Hello Brighton!
Hannah’s taking a well-deserved break and has left the rest of us in charge of the newsletter. We hope for your sake (and ours) that we can deliver. Here goes...
First a huge congratulations to all you marathon runners. However you felt before, during, and after, we salute your sheer determination - what an amazing achievement! Word is, there were a lot of Sunday roasts eaten last weekend. Cheering the runners is hungry work too, no? Kids are back to school next week too so a cheeky ‘last day of the holidays’ roast is perfectly justified we reckon. Check out this year’s BRAVO Best Sunday Roast before the season is over.

Delicious Treats on the Horizon |
April is not done with our diaries yet and the 25th seems to be particularly tempting with a choice of a Wild and Foraged Dinner at the always inventive Wild Flor, or a Japanese small plate experience at Blossoms. On the same day, The Sportsman is also welcoming Cairovan street food. Choices will have to be made!

All Aboard - Making Memories On Brighton Regency Routemaster |
Hannah took her family for an afternoon tea tour aboard the beautiful Brighton Regency Routemaster to shake off the winter blues. Would you be surprised to hear that they ALL really enjoyed a sunny afternoon eating fancy cakes, fresh-cut sandwiches and scones while sipping refreshing drinks, listening to 1960s classics and taking in the sights?

I’ve been busy this week - it’s all been Zoom calls and lunch at my desk. No-one is more disappointed than us. Well, me. I will do better.
Nick, Torsten and Emma did better though with dinner at Bonsai Plant Kitchen, a pint at The Walrus, Lost in the Lanes launch event and a late drink and a few cheeky dishes at Embers. Alright for some!
With OhSo now doing Bottomless Brunch, Steven Edwards at etch. opening up his summer reservations, and a whole list of BRAVO winners to try out, we promise to have more to report next week.
In the meantime, I leave you with your friends and ours, Jo and Pete with their insider view on places to check out in the latest Dish.
Yours, looking forward to Hannah’s return,
Ivanka and Team RB
